If you want disable AVG search in address-bar refer to following steps:

1) Type in address-bar about:config and press Enter
2) Confirm warning dialog
3) Find keyword.URL (you can use Filter)
4) Change value of keyword.URL to

http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&q=
