InstallCE interfaces with "Win CE Services" or "ActiveSync" to download and setup vxUtil.

Windows CE Services or ActiveSync must be operational on your Windows 95/98/NT/2000 system.

Open the appropriate folder on the hard drive then double-click
on the InstallCE icon to start the install process for the correct device.

(DO NOT DOUBLE-CLICK FROM WITHIN THE WINZIP WINDOW)


Note:
After unzipping and extracting the file there should be a directory (Folder) on your PC called
 "vxUtil".
This directory contains the files that will be downloaded to the HPC or PPC.
If you receive an error when attempting to install
vxUtil it may mean that the directory was not created or the long file names were not
created properly or you are trying to run InstallCE from within the WinZip window.

If you receive an "CeAppMgr.exe not found" error you
can copy the appropriate CAB file to the device and then double-tap on the file
to install the software. (May be a problem on Palm-size PC's).


It is recomended that you use the program "WinZip (32-bit version)" to unzip "vxUtil.zip" and set
options to expand sub-folders and create long file names.
